Hello all,

Most of the people know this but there exist some people who don't.So it will be helpful for them.

1. Of course you should have a cable with two jacked endings,one should be plugged in one computer another one into the second computer.

2.They should have the same workgroup name. It can be changed : My Computer->Properties->"Computer Name" tab->"Change" button->"WorkGroup" field type there the same name in both computers.

3.Do this:
My Network Places->Properties->Local Area Connection->Properties->Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)->Properties->

COMPUTER 1
IP 192.168.1.2
SUBNET-MASK 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY 192.168.1.1

COMPUTER 2
IP 192.168.1.1
SUBNET-MASK 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY 192.168.1.1
